Our Story
New Experience Recovery emerged from the personal journey of our founder, Ryan Aiumu, a recovery addict/alcoholic. Having battled with substance abuse from a young age, Ryan's personal transformation serves as an inspiration to many. He joined the Marine Corps in a bid to escape addiction, but ultimately realized that the answer lay in seeking help and committing to recovery. His experiences molded him into a compassionate leader who understands the struggles of addiction firsthand, making him uniquely positioned to help others on their journey to recovery. Ryan's personal commitment to his clients' well-being is a defining characteristic of New Experience Recovery. He is present daily, ensuring every client feels seen, heard, and valued—never just a number.
